Amerigo Bonasera doesnt reallly have angry hes really just worrying more about his saftey because of what he has to do because of the favor the don did for him. And that relates to the theme respect he had soo much respect for the don so when the time came he wouldn't even doubt returning the favor yea he regrets going to the don he even says it on P.g 256 "he cursed the day he went to the Godfather and begged for his vengeance".
Amerigo Bonasera issues come from Fear he didn't want to help the don he was scared if he did that the other mafia familes would kill him and his family.He was all about being a good american so he didnt want problems when he was just tryin to make it in america and he didn't want his buisness to be messed with i wouldn't what it to happen to me either if i had worked so hard for something i owned.
