What is the american dream to you? Some people consider the American dream to be different things based on what they want in life. For instance Gatsby, all he wanted to do is get rich so he could find Daisy and be with the one he love, but the dream doesnt alayz go the way u want it to go. Something alwayz has to stand in the way, make it harder for you to get what u want in life. For you to reach your goal. Gatsby almost had Daisy, but at the end of the day his life was tooking for something he didnt do just for covering up for the girl he loves.
"My family all died and i came into a good deal of money."(pg 70)
This is what i think the american dream is , well for most people. They want money or fam and when u have money then u get fam. but i think it all depends on what your goal is in life as of what your specfic american dream is. i think that most people dont usually get what they want.They just dont work hard enough for it or just not cable of doing what they gotta do to get it. So for most cases i dont think the ending turns out all that great.

Money to Blow ??
"Since i got famous b**** , i got money to blow, getting it in, letting these bill fall all over your skin, i got money to blow." This song is called money to blow by Drake. i beleive Drake purpose for this song and all his songs is he made it. He's rich and and cant nobody stop him. His on the top. i dont necessarly think that his putting everybody down just he ppl who doubted that he could make it or do anything wit his life. Money can get you to do crazy things, like blow it. spending it on nothing or stuff you dont even need just because your rich and you know you have it.
"ill tell you gods truth i am the son of wealthy ppl, i was brought up in america but educated at oxford." this what Gasby says to nick. Gasby trys to make it seems like he was born rich that he was gonna be rich all along .He lies about the school he went to and he use to b a soilder. He became rich bootlegging bear all just to impress daisy. Gasby has everything but daisy and thats all he really wants. As for Drake his not trynbna make it seem like he knew he was gonna be rich. He is telloing ppl about his life and how hard it is to get on top when you got haters and ppl who dont believe in you, then when u make it they wanna try to be your friend and act like they knew you was gonna make it when they were the main ones puttin u down, even drake females.

Was Bigger Fate Choosen Right ?
"Fate"
Bigger fate has been choosing for him to lose his life. He say's he doesnt really care to die because he didnt have noting his whole liofe because he was black. Bigger say's he never had a chance. His always had fear inside of him. His alwayz been scared of something, weather its white people his friends, just afraid of being caught, or what might happen next. i thing Richard Wright choose to let bigger die, because thats how it was in those days. His story is realastic. If a black man would of killed a white weathy women he would of got the dealth sentence. Bigger didnt only kill Mary but he killed Bessie to. His own girlfriend and for that i believe it was his fate for him to die. Even though bigger got the dealth sentence i do believe that he has learned something from all this, weather it's from max, jan ,or the preacher."Impose the death penalty and let the law it's course in spite of the specious call for sympathy! Make the defendant pay the highest penalty for his crimes!" (pg 408 Mr Buckley). Bigger crimes has also made him feel guilty from time to time. Like when he kept thinking of mary's body smoldering in the fire. Even though bigger is loosing his life and his family he still feels like he has nothing when few people are on his side and see's how he feels.

O.J Simpson & Bigger
O.J Simpson cases
A former football starr murdered his ex wife Nicole brown simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. They were having problems where to O.J would beat Nicole. Nicole dog was found running loose her dog legs and feet was covered in blood. there was a womans body found at the foot of the steps. A woman had been murdered a few feet nearby, in an alcove of shrubs, there was another dead body of a second victim a young man. the woman victim was foun to be Nicole o.js ex wife . she had knife wounds and bthoart was slashed. Man victim was Ronald Goldman Nicoles friend also knifes wounds to the neck and head.
What bigger and o.j case have incommon is that they both killed a white woman. with o.j there was a dog and with bigger there was ms. daltons cat who watched bigger do what he did to mary, and i would guess that the dog probably seen what happened to Nicole o.j simpsons ex wife. Both O.J and Bigger was blind when committing these crimes. They really didnt notice what they was doing until it was done. The crimes was committed through anger. They both thought they was going to get away with it. Bigger who didnt have mmoney tryed to get money out of killing marry. And O.J who had money tried to pay his way out of trouble. Both Bigger and O.j killed to people.
"He had been so conditioned in a cramped enviroment that hard words or kjicks alone knocked him upright and made him capable of actionsa, actions that was futile because the world was to much for him." (pg 240). Bigger never felt like he could go no where and life and back in that time black people couldnt do much but just work to try to survive.
Why do you think bigger feels like mary wont stick by his side ?
Other than getting caught what else do you think bigger really fears now ?
Why do you think Mr Daltons thinks bigger has nothing to do with marry dissappearance ?

Dalton's House
"He stood up.. Every since Bigger has been into the Daltons house no matter what part of the house his in his doesnt feel confortable. He's alwayz worried about what their gonna say or what they are gonna think about him, the thing he does and the way he acts because he's black living in this house owned by whites.Which all connects back to fear bigger is just scared out what can happen to him.
Why dont you think at the time bigger doesnt notice that he's actually sufforcating Mary ?
Why didnt bigger just try to get out the room ? if he was to get caught why couldnt he just explain what happened ?
