What is the american dream to you? Some people consider the American dream to be different things based on what they want in life. For instance Gatsby, all he wanted to do is get rich so he could find Daisy and be with the one he love, but the dream doesnt alayz go the way u want it to go. Something alwayz has to stand in the way, make it harder for you to get what u want in life. For you to reach your goal. Gatsby almost had Daisy, but at the end of the day his life was tooking for something he didnt do just for covering up for the girl he loves.

This is what i think the american dream is , well for most people. They want money or fam and when u have money then u get fam. but i think it all depends on what your goal is in life as of what your specfic american dream is. i think that most people dont usually get what they want.They just dont work hard enough for it or just not cable of doing what they gotta do to get it. So for most cases i dont think the ending turns out all that great.
