I think carlo rizzi is angry because he does not have a good pay job. He also angry because of what sonny did to him durning when he was working. I do think carlo has some anger issues just because he is not satified with the job he have. Especially because his wife's family have a good position on money and better jobs. Then just being the Don's bookman. Carlo thinks he desevers what sonny has he thinks he's a better man then sonny."it never occurred to carlo that because of this he was a better man than Sonny Corleeone, if such terms could be used; he envied Sonny his awesome savargery, a savagery which was becoming a legend." He knew that sonny could've killed him but he wasn't going to because carlo was going to have a baby with connie and sonny does not dare to doing it because he will leave an unborn child without a father.
