Vito Corleone

the godfather enjoys America and how better business is here and they can raise a family here also. but at the same time he want to live the Sicilian lifestyle and never forgets where he comes from and that's a part that make him HIM. he will never say he is a American, he will say he is a Sicilian with a American citizenship.

i feel that people experience nationalism because they are to proud. they are proud of where they come from and how they are because of it. they consider where they come from always home.

the don struggles with loyalty alot in his life. he has to keep the peace going with the other new york families, also in his own family to. making sure everybody is at peace with each other by letting Carlo and Connie live at the mall after sonny was murdered. he doesn't have to worry about Micheal and tom Hagen for sure, or his wife.

i feel that the don feels like loyalty is everything or almost everything. you have to be able to have total faith in your allies or you could end up in prison or dead if anything. loyalty makes business run smooth rather than making sure everything is running smooth, I'm not saying don't make sure it running smooth or not, I'm saying you don't have to worry as much.
