In away Johnny is kinda of a corrupted man and at the same time not. For example Johnny totally had power over his wife he would physically abuse her hitting her when he came home drunk. He was also being unfaithful to her. He was cheating on her with a hollywood actress. and with many more he chased anyone who he seemed to be atacted to. But After talking to His Godfather he realized he still loved his wife. He had gone to the Don because his singing carrer was going off the drain also with his acting carrer. He was loosing his voice "My voice is weak, it's got some sort of sickness." (pg.29)The Don was going to help him if he took his advice by getting his life back together.
