Billy Bibbit is suppose to be insane and needs help most of you have read the book does it seem like he does? To me it doesn't because it can talk almost perfectuly all he has is a studder problem he doesn't hallucinate like Bromden and he's not hiding his sexuality either like harden so why do they rule him insane? but in the book it even says " You must be Committed,for christsakes!" McMurphy basically is sayin you should be able to leave the place and the only reason hes in there is because his mom is good freinds with the nurse i think the reason Billy Bibbit is in the hopsital because of his anger issues like this part where he lashes out on McMurphy "Sure! if we had the g-Guts i could go outside to-today if i had the guts. My m-m-mother is a good friend of M-Miss Ratched and i could get an ama signed this afternoon you think i wuh-wuh--wuh want to stay here pg.168?"
That is the only reason why he has to stay is because of his anger issues. So really hes not insane he just gets angry and has a studder problem. I mean its kinda like harding he has a collge degree just the reason hes in the hopstial is because hes hiding his sexuality so not everyone in the ward is insane there only reason the people get put into the hopsital is because either there mom and dad can't help them they and people don't know what to do with them. To me Billy Bibbit is not insane and shouldn't really belong in the hopstial.
