Pete Bancini had like a break down and was talking all off the wall at a meeting(group theropy). He kept repeating that he was tired. Pete has a deformed skull and so he has a mental disability. Broomden speaks of like being stuck in this mindcontrol world and that they use some type of machinery to brainwash the patience which is what keeps them there and keeps them doing what nurse Rached wants them to. McMurphy starts talking about the "wam-bam-thank you mam" and comparing them to rabbits and the characteristics of a rabbit.
I think the medication that they have the patience on is part of what brainwashes them. They wont even tell them what kind of medicine that they are giving them. If they were'nt hidding anything then why wont they tell the patience what the medicine is?
